OTLA Helmets for KidsOTLA Helmets for Kids Campaign

Murray Ralston Lawyers is proud to be the primary sponsor of the OTLA Helmets for Kids campaign in North Bay. In 2015 and 2016 Murray Ralston Lawyers purchased and distributed bicycle helmets to grade three and four kids in North Bay Schools in an effort to ensure brain injuries are minimized in children. Remember, bike helmets save lives.

War of the unknown warriorsVeterans' Charities

Christine Murray, partner at Murray Ralston Lawyers, actively donates her time and raises money for charitable causes for veterans. In 2015 an original stage play, War of the Unknown Warriors, written and directed by Christine Murray premiered at the Sunnybrook Veterans’ Centre in front of a very receptive audience of resident veterans. In 2015, her play also raised over $1000 for the Army Navy Airforce Club in Barrie, Ontario.  Christine continues to donate her time directing, editing, and co-producing the play for charitable events for veterans.

Jay Ralston, partner at Murray Ralston, is a director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA). OTLA advocates for equal access to justice and full and fair legal protection of persons who have suffered injuries. He is a member of three OTLA committees.

All Lawyers at Murray Ralston Lawyers in both Barrie and North Bay are current members of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.

Murray Ralston partner, Christine Murray, served on the board of directors of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Simcoe County from 2012 to 2016. She volunteered her time and effort to the board of directors to help improve conditions in the community for persons suffering from mental illness and addiction.

Both Christine Murray and Jay Ralston are past members of the South Simcoe Theatre Play Selection Commitee. Christine and Jay have been volunteering at the community-based arts organizations in the region for over 15 years.

 


World Deaf Hockey Championship

Murray Ralston is a proud supporter of client, Randy Mortley, member of the Canadian hockey team at the 2013 World Deaf Hockey Championships held in Vantaa, Finland. Team Canada brought home a silver medal. Congratulations to all members of the Canadian World Deaf Hockey Championship team.

Murray Ralston Wheelchair Relay Team

Murray Ralston Lawyers entered a team in the 2012 Canadian Paraplegic Association Wheelchair Relay. The team of lawyers and legal assistants raised funds for this fantastic cause and had fun at the same time at the relay in September 2012.
